Jennifer Chirico

Jennifer Chirico, Ph.D., is an Adjunct Professor in the Global Leadership and Sustainable Development (GLSD) program at Hawaii Pacific University's College of Liberal Arts. She serves as CEO and Founder of Sustainable Pacific Consulting, a Certified B Corp focused on sustainability and business strategy. Her expertise spans environmental policy, public health, and management/finance.

Research Interests: Dr. Chirico specializes in integrating sustainability frameworks into business practices, climate resilience strategies, and community-driven development. Her work emphasizes island ecosystems and Pacific regional challenges. She is a certified trainer for the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and holds certifications in CDP, LEED, and water/energy efficiency standards.
