Jennifer Carter-Johnson

Jennifer Carter-Johnson is an Associate Professor of Law at Michigan State University College of Law. She combines her scientific and legal expertise to explore intersections between biological research and legal frameworks, particularly in intellectual property, food and drug regulation, and bioethics.

Her academic background includes a Ph.D. in microbiology from the University of Virginia and a law degree with honors from the University of Michigan Law School. At MSU, she mentors first-generation law students and coaches three intellectual property moot court teams.
