Jenna Z Marcus serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (Gynecologic Oncology) at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. She is affiliated with the Institute for Public Health and Medicine (IPHAM) - Center for Health Services & Outcomes Research and maintains hospital affiliations with Northwestern Medicine Prentice Women's Hospital, Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, and Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Marcus's educational background includes a BS from Oakland University (2005), MD from Wayne State University School of Medicine (2009), residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University (2013), and fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center (2016). She is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Her research focuses on gynecologic oncology with particular emphasis on cervical cancer screening, women's health outcomes, and innovative approaches to cancer treatment. Dr. Marcus leads significant clinical trials including the FAST Study investigating fasting and ketogenic diets' impact on chemotherapy side effects for ovarian and endometrial cancers, and a Phase 3 study of Sacituzumab Govitecan for endometrial cancer treatment.
Dr. Marcus has received numerous awards including multiple ASCCP Awards of Merit (2023, 2024), Northwestern University's Resident Teaching Award (2023), and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School's APGO Excellence in Teaching Award (2021).

Dr. Marcus also serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Lower Genital Tract Disease (2020-Present) and maintains active membership in multiple professional societies including the American Society for Clinical Oncology and the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists.
