Jemima García-Godos

Jemima García-Godos is a Professor at the University of Oslo, specializing in Transitional Justice, Human Rights, and Post-Conflict Reconstruction. She teaches courses in Development Studies, Human Geography, and International Law of Peace.

• Key Research Areas: Transitional justice, especially victim reparations and truth commissions; transitions to peace and democracy; post-conflict reconstruction; state-building; historical reinterpretation of conflicts; extractive industries in developing countries; citizenship and state-society relations in Latin America/Andes.
• Publications: Her recent work focuses on truth commission recommendations in Latin America, land restitution in Colombia, and the role of accountability in peacebuilding.
