Jeff McCoy

Jeff McCoy is a Lecturer in the Music Production Studies department at Oral Roberts University (ORU). With nearly two decades of experience in music education, he has held roles as Band Director at Muskogee High School (2018–2022) and Head Band Director at Victory Christian School (2013–2018), where he expanded programs and achieved historic accolades.

• Studied music at The University of Oklahoma, Berklee School of Music, The Boston Conservatory, Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and Oklahoma State University

His expertise spans music production, sound engineering, percussion instruction, and digital audio workstation coaching. He is an active member of Oklahoma Music Education Association, Percussion Arts Society, and Drummers for Jesus.

He has authored grants, designed marching band drills, and contributed to music education through YouTube content. His career highlights include growing a private school band program from 7 to 107 students and securing its first state championship.
