Jean McNeil

Jean McNeil is a Professor and Visiting Fellow at the Humanities Research Centre of the Australian National University. Her work bridges creative writing with interdisciplinary research on climate change and environmental storytelling.

Her research focuses on the aesthetics and politics of writing about climate change, exploring how narratives shape public understanding and how environmental storytelling can serve as a tool for research translation. She has authored 15 books spanning fiction, memoir, poetry, and nature writing.
