Jean Bingle is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of History, Political Science, and Sociology at Geneva College. She holds a B.A. from Washington & Jefferson College, an M.A. from Villanova University, and a Ph.D. from West Virginia University. Her teaching portfolio includes courses in European history, WWII, British and Russian history, Eastern Europe, and human geography.
Research Interests: Dr. Bingle's academic focus spans European historical studies, with emphasis on geopolitical dynamics, military conflicts (notably WWII), regional histories of Britain, Russia, and Eastern Europe, and socio-spatial analysis through human geography.

Professional Experience: She has taught at West Virginia University, Robert Morris University, Carnegie Mellon University, Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry, and Geneva College.
Service & Community Engagement: Dr. Bingle serves on the Board of Directors at The Center in Midland, PA, and volunteers with their Cooking Ministry.
