Jay Pitter commenced a visiting fellowship at the Centre for Cities within Windsor Law (Faculty of Law) at the University of Windsor in November 2021, focusing on the Bold Policy Project centered on equitable placemaking initiatives in urban environments.
Her research critically examines how policy frameworks can transform urban spaces into inclusive, just environments through equitable placemaking practices. This work intersects urban planning, social justice advocacy, and community-driven policy development, specifically addressing systemic inequities in the built environment and promoting community-centric solutions for city planning.
