Javier Torre

Javier Torre is a Professor in the Department of Spanish Language, Literary & Cultural Studies at the University of Denver's College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences. He specializes in travel narratives, contemporary Spanish literature, and cultural studies, with a focus on Spain's northern frontier and the cultural legacy in the U.S. Southwest. He has authored three books, an edited volume, and numerous academic articles.
