Jason Wiggin

Jason Wiggin is a Senior Lecturer in Interior Design and Cultural Context coordinator at Norwich University of the Arts, teaching on the BA Interior Design and BA Architecture courses. He holds a Masters in Interior Architecture from the University of Pretoria. His interdisciplinary work spans interior design, installations, product design, and scenography. He has international academic experience in South Africa, the UK, China, and Brussels.

Academically, Wiggin serves as a Champion for the ARCHITECTURE LGBT+ ACADEMIC CHAMPIONS NETWORK (2024–Present), promoting queer representation in architectural education. He was previously Director of the African Institute of the Interior Design Professions (IID). Since 2022, he has also acted as an External Examiner for the BA (Hons) Spatial & Interior Design program at the University of Kent.

His research emphasizes cross-disciplinary design practices and inclusive educational frameworks. He actively contributes to global design discourse through academic collaborations and institutional leadership roles.
