Jason Taylor

Jason Taylor is an Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Water and Wetland Resources at the University of Mississippi. He holds the prestigious Henry L. and Grace Doherty Chair in Freshwater Ecology and serves as a Faculty Instructor.

• Education: B.A. in Biology from University of North Texas (1998), Ph.D. in Biology from Baylor University (2011)

Research Interests: Dr. Taylor specializes in Freshwater Ecology, focusing on wetland conservation, aquatic ecosystem dynamics, and environmental sustainability. His work emphasizes the preservation and management of freshwater resources through interdisciplinary approaches.
