Jason Stahl

Jason Stahl is an Instructor of Communication Studies and Director of Belmont University's nationally ranked Speech & Debate Program. He holds an M.A. in Speech Communication from Western Kentucky University. His roles include serving as an officer and tournament director for state/national organizations, and advisor to Belmont's world champion Enactus team.

Research interests focus on integrating competitive communication practices with academic rigor, particularly in speech communication, debate pedagogy, and digital communication platforms. His work emphasizes practical application through coaching and organizational consulting.

• Awards: American Forensics Association New Coach of the Year

Advising highlights include leading Belmont's Enactus team to global success and consulting campus organizations on presentation strategies. Currently teaches courses in fundamentals of speech, argumentation, and social media communication.
