Jason Rhoades

Jason Rhoades, PhD, is a Core Faculty member in Environmental Studies & Sustainability at Antioch University New England. His work focuses on grassroots community engagement, political economy, and climate change adaptation through participatory action research.

His research emphasizes systems thinking to address environmental policy challenges, community resilience, and equitable participation in climate adaptation. Key projects include collaborating with older adults in climate planning and analyzing solar micro-grids in rural Ghana.

Recent publications highlight intersections between mental well-being and nature connection, socio-technical energy systems, and inclusive adaptation strategies. He teaches courses on political economy, leadership, and project management for sustainability.
