Dr. Jason McCool is a part-time lecturer in the Music Department at Boston College and affiliated with Woods College. He holds a Ph.D. from Boston University, with prior degrees from Eastman School of Music and University of Maryland. His research focuses on cultural memory in American music, including studies of musical theater, jazz, and historical contexts like Hamilton: An American Musical.
