Jason Hutchens is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP). He joined the faculty in Fall 2009 and served as department chair from 2012 to 2016. Currently, he teaches part-time via online courses.

With over 20 years of professional experience, he previously managed internal communications at Darden Restaurants, overseeing multimedia projects for brands like Red Lobster and Olive Garden. His career spans broadcast, corporate, and academic environments, emphasizing video/multimedia production.
