Jason Coles

Jason Coles serves as Chair of the Kinesiology Department within the School of Kinesiology at Southern Nazarene University, where he has been an instructor since 2016.

His academic credentials include:

• Ph.D. in Health Science from Nova Southeastern University (2022)
• M.S. in Athletic Training from Ohio University (2010)
• B.S. in Athletic Training & Exercise Science from Sterling College (2009)

Dr. Coles' professional expertise centers on athletic training and human performance, evidenced by his Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) credential and multiple National Strength and Conditioning Association certifications including CSCS, CPT, and TSAC-F. His work bridges clinical practice with exercise science applications in tactical and educational settings.

Personal interests reflect strong family engagement with outdoor activities including camping, hiking, and dog walking alongside his wife Lisha and three children.
