Julie Richardson is an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at Kentucky Wesleyan College. She holds a Ph.D. in Health & Human Performance from Concordia University Chicago, an M.S. in Exercise Physiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Alabama.

Her research interests focus on fitness, nutrition, and optimizing health through exercise. She teaches courses such as Fitness & Wellness, Nutrition for Health & Human Performance, and Exercise Physiology.
In her personal life, she is an avid athlete with a background in softball, basketball, and cross-country. She enjoys outdoor activities, cooking, and spending time with her family and her dog Kaiah. She also has strong interests in music, movies, and board games.
