Janne Støen is an Associate Professor at the Norwegian Centre for Learning Environment and Behavioral Research in Education, Faculty of Arts and Education, University of Stavanger. Her work bridges research and practice in school psychology, inclusion, and learning environments.
Her research focuses on school bullying, inclusion of immigrant students, learning environment development, and pedagogical analysis. She explores the social, legal, and systemic dimensions of bullying, with particular attention to teacher behaviors, parental involvement, and cross-national policy frameworks. Her work also investigates models for inclusion and the integration of newly arrived migrant students into Norwegian schools.
