Janis Yue, OTD, OTR/L, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Occupational Therapy at the Violence Intervention Program (VIP) within the University of Southern California's Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy. She completed her OTD (2021), MA in Occupational Therapy (2020), and BS in Neuroscience (2016) at USC. Her work centers on disability justice, abolitionist frameworks, and community-building in mental health care for structurally marginalized families. She coordinates fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) programming at VIP while providing trauma-informed services. Her research explores interprofessional education, healthcare workforce diversity, and systemic violence impacts on youth mental health.
