Janine Mathée-Scott, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist who will join Marquette University as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology in the Fall. Currently, she is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Michigan State University.
Her research interests focus on the mechanisms of language development in young children, particularly those on the autism spectrum. She aims to bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical clinical applications, using her clinical experiences to inform her work.
Dr. Mathée-Scott will teach courses including Child Language Disorders (SPPA 2210) and Child Language Intervention Issues (SPPA 6210) at Marquette University.
