Professor Janette Webb is a Professor of Sociology of Organisations at the University of Edinburgh's School of Social and Political Science. She holds notable honors such as MBE, FRSE, and FEI. Her research focuses on social studies of energy and climate change, including governance of heat decarbonisation, energy efficiency, and local/regional energy systems. She has contributed to UK and Scottish energy strategies through projects funded by UK Research and Innovation and Scottish ClimateXChange.
