Dr. Christian Calvillo Munoz is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Energy Policy, University of Strathclyde. His work focuses on energy transition challenges, including energy system modelling, decarbonisation scenarios, and policy analysis. He holds a PhD from the Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate in Sustainable Energies Technologies and Strategies (SETS), with studies at Comillas Pontifical University (Spain), Delft University of Technology (Netherlands), and KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden).
His research interests span energy efficiency, industrial decarbonisation, carbon capture and storage (CCUS), and the socio-economic impacts of energy transitions.
