Janet Gubbins

Janet Gubbins serves as Director of USG Faculty Development and teaches part-time in Political Science at the University of West Georgia. With 25+ years in online education, she specializes in faculty development, instructional design, and learning management systems.

Her work focuses on improving online teaching practices through experiential learning approaches and relationship-centered support. She has taught for eCore since 2008 and developed UWG's early online course frameworks.

Gubbins holds Quality Matters certifications and has presented nationally on online learning innovations and faculty support systems.
