Janani Mahadeva

Janani Mahadeva is an Associate Professor and Conjoint Associate Professor at Macquarie Medical School, Macquarie University. She is also a General Practitioner affiliated with Macquarie University Clinical Associates (MUCA). Her research focuses on primary healthcare systems, cancer survivorship, sexual health, and implementation science. She leads and collaborates on projects addressing healthcare equity, genomics in primary care, and sexual health services for international students.

Her research interests include Learning Health Systems, patient-centered care, and improving healthcare delivery through implementation strategies. Notable projects include an MRFF-funded initiative on equity-focused patient registration and embedding genomics in primary care.
