Andrew Parsonson is a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at the Macquarie Medical School, Macquarie University, and a clinical oncologist affiliated with Macquarie University Clinical Associates (MUCA). He holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences at Macquarie University. His research focuses on medical oncology, telemedicine, and clinical trials, with a particular emphasis on cancer treatment outcomes, patient care during pandemics, and supportive care strategies for cancer patients. He has led and contributed to multiple research projects, including studies on telehealth efficacy, drug safety, and survival analysis in metastatic cancers.
