Jana Henry Funderburk serves as Professor of Design and Creative Arts Coordinator within Millikin University's School of Theatre & Dance, where she oversees Design & Production programs.

Her research spans Costume Design and Textile Arts with specialized focus on dye techniques of the global majority, textile history, and technological integration in costume processes. Professional costume work extends across theatre, dance, television, and film industries. She actively shapes pedagogy through travel immersion courses taught in England, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Italy, and Walt Disney World's 'Designing Disney' program since 2015.
