Jan Peters is a full professor (W3) at the Computer Science Department of Technische Universität Darmstadt and serves as the department head of the Systems AI for Robot Learning (SAIROL) at the German Research Center for AI (DFKI). He is also a founding faculty member of the Hessian Centre for Artificial Intelligence. Peters holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California (2007) and dual master’s degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from USC and TU Munich respectively.
