Jamie Wilcox

Dr. Jamie Wilcox is an Associate Professor of Clinical Occupational Therapy at the USC Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, affiliated with Keck Hospital of USC. She specializes in pulmonary, organ transplant, and post-COVID-19 rehabilitation, with a focus on acute/chronic lung disease interventions and post-intensive care syndrome. Her clinical practice emphasizes early rehabilitation for critically ill patients. Dr. Wilcox holds an MPH from the USC Keck School of Medicine (2023) and an OTD (Occupational Therapy Doctorate).

Research interests include optimizing occupational therapy interventions for critically ill patients and bridging clinical practice with public health approaches. She mentors doctoral residents and fieldwork students, and teaches in USC Chan’s Entry-Level Doctoral program and Keck Hospital’s AOTA Fellowship Program.

Recipient of the 2021 NBCOT Innovation Award for pandemic-era leadership in rehabilitation strategies. Her work integrates clinical expertise with population health perspectives to address systemic healthcare challenges.
