Jamie Howard

Jamie Howard, M.D., is a Professor in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Medicine. She has been a faculty member since 1981 and holds leadership roles as Director of the Preventive Occupational and Environmental Medicine Division and UAMS Student and Employee Health Services, as well as Medical Director of the Integrated Medical Service Line (IMSL) Quality Improvement (QI) Council.

• Research focuses on preventive and occupational medicine, environmental health, and clinical quality improvement.
• Oversees UAMS clinical laboratory operations and contributes to medical informatics through her certification as an Epic physician builder.
