Jamie Halverson

Dr. Jamie Halverson is an Associate Professor in the departments of General Education and Community Health at Clarkson College since 2018. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication, Organizational Leadership, and Human Resource Management from Wayne State College, a Master’s in Communication Studies from the University of South Dakota, and a Doctorate in Education Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her academic career includes roles at the Iowa Community College Consortium and Iowa Western Community College.

Dr. Halverson’s research and teaching focus on cultural competence, intercultural communication, global health disparities, and community engagement.
