James Rougvie is an Associate Professor of Geology at Beloit College, where he teaches courses in Mineralogy, Petrology, Structural Geology, Field Methods, and Physical Geology. He also contributes to the Environmental Studies Program by teaching courses on rural sustainability in Japan. His research focuses on fluid-rock interactions in Earth's crust using petrology and geochemistry, particularly in metamorphic and low-temperature environments.
