James Preston

Dr. James Preston is a Lecturer in Sheep and Wool at the School of Environmental and Rural Science, University of New England. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and Management from the University of Melbourne and a PhD in Fibre Science from Deakin University's Institute of Frontier Materials.

His research focuses on

• Sheep management practices
• Wool production optimization
• Wool metlogy
• Wool biology

with particular emphasis on the importance of wool quality in the Australian wool industry.
