James Faulconbridge is a Professor in the Department of Organisation, Work and Technology at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS). He currently serves as Faculty Associate Dean (Resources) for LUMS and previously led the department as Head between 2016–2020. His expertise spans professions, professional service firms, and knowledge-intensive services, with a focus on digital transformation, professional misconduct, globalization, and business mobilities.

- Digital Transformation of Professional Work: Examines AI integration, algorithmic work processes, and organizational adaptation in legal, accounting, and other service sectors.
