Jakob Seifert is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Materials Science and Nanotechnology, Department of Physics, University of Oslo. His research focuses on semiconductor thin film synthesis using Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) to create material libraries for novel device applications. He holds a Physics M.Sc. (2025) and B.Sc. (2021) from Leipzig University, with a thesis on the structural and electrical properties of Cr₂O₃ thin films. Additionally, he pursued a parallel Philosophy B.Sc. (uncompleted) focusing on analytic philosophy and works of Ludwig Wittgenstein.
