Jake Rose is the Director of the School of Accountancy and holds the Hibbs/Middlebush/Rogers Chair at the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business, University of Missouri. He is a Professor of Accountancy with global recognition in experimental Accounting Information Systems (AIS) research and behavioral accounting studies.
Education: Ph.D. in Accounting from Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. Previous roles include Chair of Accounting and CIS, and Allen McConnel Distinguished Chair at the University of Northern Colorado.
Research focuses on applying neuroscience and behavioral science to address challenges in accounting, business, and information systems. Teaching areas include accounting systems, business analytics, fraud analytics, and research methods.
Leadership experience includes accreditation processes, program development, and strategic planning. Recognized as No. 1 in experimental AIS research and No. 2 in experimental accounting research by Brigham Young University rankings.
