Jaime Garau Amengual is a Professor of Spanish Philology at the University of the Balearic Islands, specializing in Spanish Golden Age literature. He serves as Director and Principal Investigator of the Institute of Hispanic Studies in Modernity (IEHM) and its Associated R&D&I Unit with the Higher Council for Scientific Research.
His research interests include:

Professor Garau Amengual has directed multiple competitive R&D&I projects and has been a visiting professor at various universities across Europe and America. He is a member of the CELES research group at the University of Poitiers and an associate member of GRISO at the University of Navarra.
