Jaime Baxter-Slye

Dr. Jaime Baxter-Slye is a Clinical Assistant Professor specializing in Ecology Education at UNT's Department of Biological Sciences and Advanced Environmental Research Institute. She leads the Ecological Action Studio and advises multiple student organizations focused on environmental conservation.

Academic Programs: Developed the Ecology Laboratory course and upper-level Ecological Action Studio. Advisor for UNT Society for Ecological Restoration, Bird Campus Committee, Bee Campus initiative, and Mean Green Tree Team.

Conservation Leadership: Director of the UNT Pollinative Prairie reconstruction project and Diamond Eagles Community Learning Area, promoting native Texas prairie ecosystems.
