Jacques Poot

Jacques Poot is a Professor of Population Economics at the University of Waikato, Hamilton, New Zealand, since 2004. He has held previous academic positions at Victoria University of Wellington, including Associate Professor (1997–2003), Reader (1993–1994), Senior Lecturer (1987–1992), and Lecturer (1982–1986). He also served as a Foreign Professor at the University of Tsukuba, Japan (1994–1997), and as a Research Assistant at the Free University, Amsterdam (1976–1978).
