Jacqueline C. Reich

Jacqueline C. Reich, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Chestnut Hill College. She coordinates the Political Science and International Affairs majors and teaches the Global Awareness Seminar, a general education course. Her academic profile spans international relations theory, nuclear proliferation, and the intersection of science with policy-making.

• Education: Ph.D. (1991) and M.A. (1981) from University of California, Berkeley; B.A. (1980) from University of Pittsburgh.

Her research focuses on institutionalizing global learning programs, analyzing nuclear nonproliferation treaties, and exploring how scientific expertise influences international policy on climate change and global health. She has presented at major conferences including AAC&U, MPSA, and NPSA.

Her publications address global education frameworks, the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT), and science advisory mechanisms in international governance. She was a finalist for the 2008 Nonproliferation Challenge.
