Jacob Odeberg

Jacob Odeberg is a Professor and Head of Department at the Department of Cellular and Clinical Proteomics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. His research focuses on developing biomarker-based analyses for personalized medicine using Sweden's unique healthcare registers and biobanks combined with the Human Protein Atlas project's resources. He leads a multidisciplinary team integrating technology, clinical practice, and biomedicine to validate biomarkers for clinical implementation.

He teaches courses including Immunology (BB2446) as examiner and course coordinator, and Clinical Applications of Biotechnology (CB2020) as a teacher. His work aims to improve patient safety and healthcare efficiency through proteomic innovations.
