Jaap Faber is a Lecturer at the Department of Dutch Studies, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Károli Gáspár Reformed University. He holds an MA in Dutch Language and Literature from Utrecht University and a BA in Dutch Language and Culture from the same institution. His research and teaching areas include Dutch language acquisition, modern Dutch literature, and journalism, with additional involvement in Germanic languages and cultures.
He actively contributes to educational organization, including teaching at summer universities (Zeist, Netherlands) since 2013 under the Dutch Language Union and organizing the Comenius Summer University in Budapest in July 2015. His language proficiencies include native Dutch, C1 English, B2 German, and basic Hungarian.
