Jaś Elsner

Professor Jaś Elsner is a Senior Research Fellow at Corpus Christi College, University of Oxford. His research focuses on Roman, early Christian, and Byzantine art and archaeology, the reception of material culture in texts and museums, art-religion intersections, and the historical development of art history/archaeology as disciplines.
