Dr. JJ Arias is the Chair of the Economics and Finance Department at Georgia College and also serves as the Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR) for Bobcat Athletics. He has held these positions since 2019. He completed his undergraduate studies in Economics at Pennsylvania State University in 1990 and earned his PhD in Economics from Texas A&M University in 1996. His research interests include applied game theory, economics education, and monetary economics.
