JAVIER LLORCA MARTINEZ

Javier LLorca Martinez is a Professor in the Department of Materials Science at the Technical University of Madrid, holding a faculty appointment since July 12, 1995. He serves as Principal Investigator of the Advanced Structural and Nanomaterials research group since June 14, 2005, and is a member of the Structural Materials Research Center (CIME) since February 28, 2013.

Professor LLorca Martinez focuses on the mechanical behavior and failure mechanisms of advanced structural materials through integrated experimental and theoretical approaches. He leads the Advanced Structural and Nanomaterials group at CIME, directing collaborative research on next-generation materials systems while maintaining active industry partnerships for technology transfer.
