Dr J.R. Carpenter is a Lecturer in Performance Writing at the School of English, Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures, University of Leeds. With a PhD in Performance Writing (University of the Arts London, 2015) and BFA in Studio Art (Concordia University, 1995), her research interrogates intersections of place, migration, scientific colonialism, and climate crisis through hybrid print/digital media.
