Ben Smith is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Exeter, Department of English and Creative Writing. As a novelist and poet, his research specializes in environmental and speculative literature, focusing on climate change, future landscapes, and the Anthropocene. He holds an AHRC fellowship for A History of Storms: New Approaches to Climate Fiction and Climate Literacy, collaborating with the UK Met Office to advance climate literacy strategies.
