Texas native J. Christopher Marshall is a Lecturer at the Department of Music within the University of Minnesota's College of Liberal Arts. He is also a professional bassoonist, having been a member of the Minnesota Orchestra since 1999 and joining the University's faculty in 2022. Marshall performs regularly on the Minnesota Orchestra’s Chamber Music series and has appeared as a soloist with multiple orchestras.
