J Devika is a Professor at the Centre for Development Studies (CDS), Thiruvananthapuram, with a focus on gender, politics, and cultural history in Kerala. She holds a Ph.D. in History from Mahatma Gandhi University and has been recognized for her translations and feminist scholarship.
