Dr. Ivar Vermeulen is an Associate Professor in Communication Science at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU), affiliated with the Faculty of Social Sciences, Network Institute, and Communication Choices, Content and Consequences (CCCC) research group. He holds roles as Research Manager of the Communication Science department and co-Director of the Digital Media & Behaviour Lab. He earned his PhD in 2003 from the University of Amsterdam's Institute for Logic, Language, and Information.
