Ivana Yakovlev

Ivana Yakovlev is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, specializing in General Psychology. She is affiliated with the Laboratory of Experimental Psychology since 2011 and completed postdoctoral training at the School of Psychology, University of Aberdeen (2019). Her research focuses on color perception, cognition, and their interplay with language, supported by projects from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and Horizon 2020 (CARISMAND, CITYCOP).

Recent publications demonstrate expertise in experimental psychology, cultural psychology, and disaster risk reduction, with a focus on color categorization, cognitive modeling, and cross-cultural analysis.

She teaches core courses in Perception, Learning and Memory, and Cognitive Processes at the basic academic studies level.
